本地旅客：或放弃走访事故区域

四 | 事故发生六天后，距离第一个地陷地点50米外，出现了第二个地洞。此外，吉隆坡市甘榜格灵芝（Kampung Kerinchi）班台柏迈路（Jalan Pantai Permai）一处的人行道，本月26日也发生地陷。对此，另一名已计划前往吉隆坡的旅客——68岁退休人士赛义德·纳西尔则表示，，由于会担心当地再发生地陷，因此会避免前往那些地点。不过，他也提到，当地政府采取了必要行动，并封锁了事发路段，有助缓解他的担忧。坐落在文礼购物中心内的两家巴士业者昨天（29日）受询时指出，公司并没有接获任何取消订票的通知。

吉隆坡旅游协会：事故未影响当地旅游业
吉隆坡旅游协会主席赛义德·阿扎尔·赛义德·纳齐尔（Syed Azhar Syed Nadzir）受访时认为，地陷事故并没有对该市旅游业带来任何影响，但预计前往印度回教堂地区的旅客将减少。“我们在预订平台上没有看到任何取消预订的情况。现在是暑假，被认为是旺季，我们相信所有预订都会保留。”他也指出，当地偶尔会发生山体滑坡等事件，但旅客向来都不会因此避免到当地游玩。马来西亚入境旅游协会主席乌达尼斯（Uzaidi Udanis）同样透露，地陷发生后，预订量并没有减少。“我每天都与外国同行接触，但关于这一事件的讨论并不多。”酒店业者：顾客纷纷取消订房
然而，事发地区的酒店业者纷纷表示，接获不少顾客取消订房。坐落在地洞附近的酒店宫殿酒店（Palace Hotel）职员指出，该酒店事后都接到了来自当地和外国顾客取消订房的通知，平日的入住率下跌了20%。
六 | “生意不太好，因为有很多订单被取消，尤其是上个周末，也就是公共假期的时候。我们也不知道这样的情况还会持续多久。”另一家廉价酒店MK Inn则表示，目前还无法确定此次事件的影响，但已经看到一些顾客开始取消订房的情况。工作人员透露，该酒店很大程度上依赖散客，但目前到该区走动的人并不多。
